We leave London Victoria at around 7.15 am on Friday morning in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. You'll be given the option to be collected from Stop 24 service station at Junction 11 on the M20, just one junction before the Eurotunnel terminal, where you can park for approximately £6 per day.
We arrive in Reims late afternoon and go straight to visit one of the major Champagne houses for a tour and tasting in their extensive cellars. After checking into our hotel, you'll have the evening free to explore the restaurants and bars of the town. (There's an optional group dinner at a local restaurant.)
DAY 2: Saturday 15th July
We will head towards Epernay and the Montagne de Reims to visit two family producers, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. These producers are all situated in the best villages (1er Cru and Grand Cru) and are hand-picked for the quality and value which they offer. During each visit, you'll be tasting various champagnes from their cellars and you'll be able to buy supplies at very attractive prices.
At lunchtime, there will be free time to wander around the town of Epernay.
This evening is free to explore the many restaurants and bars in Reims.
DAY 3: Sunday 16th July
We visit another family producer this morning. Afterwards there will be time for lunch and more shopping back in Reims. Early afternoon after lunch, we head back to the UK, arriving back at Stop 24 at around 7.30 pm and at London Victoria around 9 pm
