Accommodation at the centrally-located boutique 4-star Hotel de Seze; meals at gastronomic restaurants; tastings of fine Bordeaux wines; and a tour of the Cité du Vin. An added bonus is that the tour wass scheduled to coincide with the last two days of the Fête du Vin where there were hundreds of wines for tasting.

Bordeaux is best-known for some of the greatest red wines in the world, but it’s also produces world-class dry whites and dessert wines, and we tasted all styles. We marvelled at the beautiful chateaux that dot the famous communes of the Medoc, wandered through the hilltop town of St Emilion, and experienced the grandeur of the city of Bordeaux with its opulent buildings.
