Austria Wine Tour
04-08 September 2019

From: £1,175.00

Austria was chosen as “Europe’s Best Wine Travel Destination” in January 2016 by 39,000 American travel agents. Not surprising as the country has gone through something of a vinous revolution in the last 30 years. Austrian wine is all about elegance and balance and we will taste wines from indigenous grapes like Gruner Veltliner, Blaufrankisch and Zweigelt as we visit several wineries in various regions south-east and north-west of Vienna. We will stay in the pretty towns of Rust and Krems, visit the baroque marvel Ersteharzy Palace and its Wine Museum, enjoy the Erste Lage tasting in the fabulous surroundings of Grafenegg Castle, and enjoy a boat ride on the River Danube. So come and join us on a vinous adventure into Central Europe.
