Small-scale vineyards and family estates dominate the region and winemaking traditions stretch back hundreds of years making it a treasure trove of wine culture. Day 1: Wednesday 22nd June
Arrival, Cote Chalonnaise & Welcome Dinner
Meet at Lyon airport at 11.20 (to coincide with the British Airways flight from London – see Travel tab). Group transfer by VIP coach to the Burgundy region (2 hours), own sandwich lunch en-route. Afternoon tour and tasting at a winery in Cote Chalonnaise. Late afternoon check-in to the 4-star Hotel Olivier Leflaive (4 nights). Welcome dinner this evening at Bistrot Olivier in our hotel accompanied by a range of Leflaive wines

Day 2: Thursday 23rd June
Cotes de Beaune
This morning drive the short distance to the village of Pommard for a tour and tasting at a family winery who specialise in red wines. Weather permitting we’ll get out into one of their vineyards. Lunch today at a 1 Michelin Star restaurant in the village of Meursault. After lunch visit another family producer in the village of St Aubin, tour and tasting of mostly white wines from various appellations. Return to hotel. Free evening.

Day 3: Friday 24th June
Cotes de Nuits
This morning drive north to the Cotes de Nuits, the northern part of the Cote D’Or. Visit a family producer and taste a range of wines from various appellations. Lunch at a gastronomic restaurant in Chambolle Musigny. This afternoon visit a producer in Nuits St. Georges for a tour and tasting. Late afternoon return to our hotel. Free evening.

Day 4: Saturday 25th June
Beaune, L’Hotel Dieu & Market
This morning head to Beaune, the beautiful walled town at the centre of the wine producing region. Visit the historic L’Hotel Dieu, home of the Hospices de Beaune, with its famous, colourful tiled roof. Free time to explore the Saturday Market and for lunch. Mid-afternoon visit another winery just outside the town for a tour and tasting. Late afternoon return to hotel. This evening a group dinner at a gastronomic restaurant near our hotel.

Day 5: Sunday 26th June
More Wine & Gastronomy and Dijon
After breakfast, check-out and drive back past Beaune to the village of Echeveronne to visit our last producer. Our final group meal is lunch at a 1 Michelin star restaurant in Pernand Vergelesses. Mid-afternoon drive to Dijon to visit the brand new (it opens on 6th May) Cité internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin where we’ll have time to browse the many stores, and maybe sample a few last wines from their oenomatic machines! Around 5.30 pm depart and drive back to Lyon airport (2 ½ hours) arriving by 8 pm in time for British Airways 22.05 flight to London Heathrow.


Please note that some winery visits are subject to confirmation and we may need to change the order of visits.



Please note that flights are not included in the cost of the tour so you will need to book your own travel to/from Lyon airport. The recommended group flights are with British Airways:

  • Wednesday 22nd June BA 360 departs London Heathrow T3 08.45 arrives Lyon 11.20
  • Sunday 26th June BA 359 departs Lyon 22.05 arrives London Heathrow 22.40

Transfers by coach from/to Lyon airport are included and will tie in with the above flights. If you make alternative travel arrangements you will need to be at Lyon airport in time to meet the BA flight on 22nd June. The tour will end at Lyon airport around 8pm on 26th June.

Travel throughout the tour will be in a luxury VIP air-conditioned executive coach.



For all four nights of the tour we will be based at Hotel Olivier Leflaive in the village of Puligny.

Originally a 17th century family home overlooking the village square, this boutique hotel was completely renovated with refinement and passion in 2021. It’s run by Julie Leflaive who is the 19th(!) generation of the family. There are just 17 rooms, a gastronomic restaurant ‘Klima’ as well as Bistrot Olivier and bar. The comfortable air-conditioned are all en-suite and have flat screen TV, minibar, safe, Clarins toiletries, and free wi-fi.

Price includes:

£1800 per person sharing a double or twin room.

  • Ground transport throughout in a spacious, VIP coach.
  • Four nights’ accommodation with breakfast sharing a double or twin room with ensuite facilities.
  • Three lunches + two dinners with wine (including two lunches at Michelin starred restaurants).
  • Tours and tastings at 7 wineries
  • Entrance ticket for L’Hotel Dieu in Beaune
  • Entrance ticket for the brand new Cité internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin, Dijon

  • Single occupancy of a double/twin room (limited number of single rooms available): £300
  • Room Upgrade to Junior Suite (2 rooms available for those sharing a twin/double room) £125 per person

A non-refundable deposit of £450 per person is payable when booking. The remaining balance is due eight weeks before the start of the tour. Your money will be held in a secure Client Deposit Account and is fully protected.
