Sorry, this tour is now fully booked! But you can still add your name to the waitlist to be the first to know if any spaces become available.
Catalunya is Spain’s most vibrantly independent region, proud of its heritage, language, fine food and distinctive wines. Its capital Barcelona is just 40 minutes from the Penedes region, home to Spain’s best sparkling wines. The town of Falset, which will be our base for the tour, is 40 minutes further west and is ideally situated for visiting the major wine regions of Catalunya, with most bodegas nearby.

The region is packed with wonderful wines, innovative cuisine and ancient history all within a spectacular, mountainous landscape. Over the five days of the tour we’ll visit Catalunya’s three main wine regions Priorat, Montsant and Terra Alta. The steep, slate, slopes are home to old bush vines of Grenache and Carignan, and this terroir produces mainly full-bodied reds, as well as some fine whites. There will also be visits to Corpinnat producers of Traditional Method Sparkling wine on our way to Falset and back to Barcelona.
