Ribera del Duero Wine Tour

5-day wine tour to Ribera del Duero, one of the most prestigious wine producing areas in the world. Ribera del Duero, just a couple of hour’s drive from Madrid and located on a plateau by the banks of the Duero River, is one of Spain´s most reputed wine producing regions. In 2012 it was named Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. As well as hundreds of wineries there is avant-garde architecture, impressive castles, monasteries and ancient, underground cellars. Its unique personality and rich history make it a must-visit for Spanish wine enthusiasts. Tempranillo is king here and the local gastronomy is delicious and a perfect match for the powerful red wines. For a contrast we’ll also visit the next-door region of Rueda which produces aromatic, refreshing whites.
